What is Wine Nod?

Wine Nod is a members-only wine storage and trading platform designed for collectors who value discretion, service, and care. We provide professional temperature and humidity-controlled storage, a digital cellar, bottle-level inventorisation, condition checks, white-glove logistics, and a private marketplace.

How is Wine Nod different from a self-storage unit?

With regular self-storage you manage everything yourself — pack, move, track. With Wine Nod we handle each step: we inventorise your bottles, check their condition, store your wines under optimal conditions, deliver on request, and enable secure trading in a curated marketplace. In addition, we charge a per-bottle, per-month price to maximise value and flexibility for you.

Who is Wine Nod for?

Wine collectors who prefer a full-service wine storage solution. They want visibility, professional handling, and a trading community, not just a storage unit.

What are the membership tiers?
  • Member (Free):

    Storage from SGD 1 per bottle/month, digital cellar access, marketplace eligibility.

  • Premium Member (SGD 49.90/month):

    Full Service: All basic features plus home collection, a virtual Singapore delivery address, priority access to features/events/allocations.

How do payments work?

All payments are processed in SGD. Membership and storage fees are billed monthly. Marketplace transaction can be processed through Pay Now or Credit Card/Debit Card.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Please email hello@winenod.co at least two weeks before your next billing date. We will assist you with wine delivery or collection. You will be asked to settle any outstanding bills. If wines remain uncollected after the grace period, they may be forfeited.

How do I access my account?

Once registered, log in to your digital cellar via the Wine Nod mobile app. Here you can view your bottles, their fill levels and label conditions, request for relocation requests, view marketplace listings and more.

How is storage charged?

Storage is charged on a per-bottle, per-month basis. We believe this provides flexibility as you are not tied down to a certain sized space or duration for storage. Wine storage fees will not be prorated - the full month’s fee for a bottle is charged even if the bottle is withdrawn early or dropped off late. 

Where are my wines stored?

In our temperature and humidity-controlled warehouses in Singapore. Every bottle is photographed, inventorised in your digital cellar, and stored into our physical cellar.

Can I visit the storage facility?

For security and member privacy reasons, we do not allow visits. 

Can Wine Nod collect my wines from my current storage or home?

For our Premium members, our concierge can arrange for a professional collection from your self-storage unit or residence.

How do I view or track my collection online?

Log into your member portal and navigate to “My Cellar” to view a full list of your bottles in storage with Wine Nod.

How do deliveries and logistics work?
  • Standard delivery within Singapore: Select the wines you want delivered and schedule a delivery through the app.

  • Pick-up/Drop-off: Schedule a pick-up or drop-off of your wines at Wine Nod’s office through the app.

  • Home collection (Premium Members only): Schedule a collection of your wines from your location of choice (home, office, self-storage facility) and our concierge will arrange for a professional collection.

  • Premium virtual address (Premium Members only): Ship directly to a virtual address provided to you and we will take delivery, inventorise, and store your wines on your behalf.

Are my wines insured?

Our storage partners maintain facility-level insurance covering fire, flood, lightning and theft by forcible entry. We are insured for wines transported with Wine Nod’s logistics partners. For very high-value bottles we recommend that you maintain private insurance to protect the full market value.

What is the Wine Nod Marketplace?

A private platform where members can list, buy and sell wines directly from their digital cellar. Only bottles stored with Wine Nod are eligible.

Who can trade on it?

Verified members with wine stored with Wine Nod can trade their wines on the marketplace.

Do I need a liquor licence to sell?

Sellers must hold a valid liquor licence in Singapore in accordance with the Singapore Police Force Liquor Licence Regulations. It is the sole responsibility of the seller to ensure full compliance with all licensing, excise, and regulatory obligations before listing any wines for sale. 

What are the fees?
  • Seller: 5% of sale price

  • Buyer: 1.5–3.5%, depending on payment method (this fully goes toward our payment processors)

Payments handled via Stripe. Wine Nod does not hold funds on your behalf.

What is “verified provenance”?

Means the seller has supplied documentation (invoice, receipt, shipment record). We review it for completeness, but do not conduct independent authentication.

Does Wine Nod guarantee transactions?

We facilitate logistics, storage, and secure payments, but all trades are between members at their own discretion and risk.

How often will I be billed?

Membership and storage fees are billed monthly. Delivery/logistics fees are applied per request.

What payment methods are accepted?

Major credit/debit cards, via Stripe. We do not store full card details.

What if a payment fails, or there’s a dispute?

Stripe handles authorisations, chargebacks and dispute resolution. We will assist as required, but the final outcome rests with Stripe.

Do you offer refunds?

Only administrative or billing errors will be processed within seven working days. Membership fees and partial months are non-refundable.

How do you keep my wines safe?

Secured facilities with climate control, 24/7 surveillance, restricted access. Every bottle is tracked digitally and assigned to your cellar.

What happens if something goes wrong?

In the rare event of fire, flood or theft by forcible entry, our facility-level insurance applies. For very valuable bottles, private insurance is recommended.
